Programme Overview The KAUST Microelectronics Winter Camp (MEWC) 2027 is a fully funded six-week research internship running 4 January to 11 February 2027 at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), Saudi Arabia. Applications close on 24 September 2026. The program is open to senior undergraduates, recent graduates, and current Master's students in electrical and computer engineering disciplines worldwide.
Program Structure and Research Focus MEWC is an intensive research internship developed by KAUST's Computer, Electrical and Mathematical Sciences and Engineering (CEMSE) Division. Participants work on hands-on research projects mentored by KAUST faculty, attend technical workshops, develop prototype technologies, and gain access to state-of-the-art facilities including micro/nanofabrication and additive manufacturing labs.
