Project Description
This project focuses on developing next-generation smart sensing and data analytics technologies for aerospace applications. The student will investigate novel sensing methods, develop physics-informed computational models, and apply state-of-the-art machine learning techniques to extract useful information from complex measurement data. The project provides access to world-class experimental facilities and close collaboration with industry partners.
Requirements
- First-class Honours degree (or equivalent) in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline
- Strong background in radar, microwave engineering, signal processing, electromagnetics, machine learning, or related fields
- Programming experience in Python and/or MATLAB
