The Reisner Laboratory develops innovative technologies to convert solar energy into sustainable fuels and organic platform chemicals for a circular economy. The lab focuses on solar-powered conversion of waste water and air into fuels and chemicals. PhD students join a dynamic international cross-disciplinary team.

Eligibility Requirements
- Hold or expect to obtain qualifications equivalent to UK first-class Master's degree or honours degree
- Fields Microbiology Biochemistry Chemical Engineering or closely related discipline

Funding Details
- Fully funded for 4 years
- Tuition covered (home and international rates)
- Stipend Standard UKRI research council rate (approximately £21,805/year for 2026/27)
