Programme Overview The Tsinghua University Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC) 2027 is a fully funded award covering tuition, on-campus accommodation or housing subsidy, monthly stipend of CNY 3,000 (Master's) or CNY 3,500 (PhD), and comprehensive medical insurance. Applications are made through two possible tracks: Type A via Chinese embassies or Type B directly through Tsinghua.
Two Application Tracks - Type A (Bilateral Program / Embassy Track): Apply to the Chinese Embassy or Consulate in your home country. Windows run roughly November 2026 to February 2027, varying by country. Apply online at campuschina.org selecting Type A and your country's agency number. - Type B (Chinese University Program / Tsinghua Track): Apply directly through Tsinghua University's international graduate admission system. Select Chinese Government Scholarship as scholarship type and B as agency number. Only one Type B submission per university is possible.
Financial Coverage - Full tuition fee waiver for entire program duration. - Free on-campus university accommodation or housing subsidy. - Monthly living stipend: CNY 3,000/month for Master's students; CNY 3,500/month for PhD students.

Application Process
1. Identify your program in the Tsinghua International Graduate Program Catalog.
2. Prepare supervisor contact for PhD applications.
3. Complete Tsinghua's online application and pay application fee (RMB 800 per program).
4. Complete CSC online application at campuschina.org with Type B and Tsinghua's agency number.
5. Submit all supporting documents to both portals.
6. Wait for university review and CSC nomination.
7. CSC final review with results announced June-July 2027.
