Project Description

This project will improve pgSIT performance by refining CRISPR construct design, enhancing promoter specificity, and identifying gene targets that maximise sterility and male bias. The research will evaluate the genetic and physiological effects of pgSIT components using functional genomics, transgenesis and molecular tools.
