Project Overview
About the Position
Lund University invites applications for a post-doctoral fellow position assessing global forest dynamics. The project works on large-scale assessment of forest change, combining remote sensing, forest inventory data and modelling to understand how forests worldwide are responding to climate, management and disturbance.
The fellow will process and analyse satellite and inventory datasets, develop assessment methods, and contribute to international collaborations and publications on global forest dynamics. The position is based in a strong remote-sensing and vegetation-science environment, and the appointment is a salaried postdoctoral contract under Swedish collective agreements.
